Message from Melbourne Police SNT
One of the more common things reported to and mentioned to SNT is parking issues, in particularly around schools. Our team regularly visits all schools in the area to engage with pupils and teachers and do ask schools to send messages out periodically to parents advising them around parking safely near schools.

Derbyshire County Council have produced a report on the flooding that took place during Storm Babet, they have now opened a consultation in the form of a survey.

It's estimated that around 17,000 Derbyshire pensioners are entitled to, but not claiming, the pension top-up, with the take-up rate for those aged over 75 at only 60%.
To help you find out if you qualify, DCC have staff on hand who can support you to claim your share of £41 million a year in unclaimed benefits.

National Grid Consultation 2024
National Grid are seeking views and local knowledge about the proposed area within which the proposed new line could be located.
